Founded in 1983 by Juan José Gonzalez and his son, Juan Pablo, the Gonzalez Reeds company is one of the world's leading manufacturers of high quality hand-selected single reeds for clarinets and saxophones, and double reeds canes for oboes, English horns, bassoons, and contrabassoons. Gonzalez Reeds are made of raw materials grown at the Gonzalez's family plantation, located at the foot of the Andes mountains. It is considered as the largest in the world. Combined with the latest manufacturing technology, Gonzalez Reeds produces world-class reeds, distributed in more than 30 countries around the globe. The company also offers alto and tenor saxophone and clarinet cleaning swabs in natural leather. Gonzalez Reeds is used by many professional musicians from different parts of the world.
