Fox

Based in South Whitley, Indiana, Fox Products Corporation is an American manufacturer of high quality bassoons, contrabassoons, oboes, and English horns. Bassoonist Hugo Fox founded the company in 1949, following his retirement as principal bassoonist of the Chicago Symphony, and finished the first ever Fox bassoon in 1951. His son, Alan, took the role of leading the company and furthering its success, with his in-depth knowledge in instrument manufacturing.

Today, Fox offers a line of bassoons (with four acoustical variations available), contrabassoons, oboes, and French horns. Expertly manufactured by skilled technicians and play-tested by musicians to ensure optimal performance, each Fox double reed instrument is a hallmark of design, quality, and industry standard, used by musicians around the world.
