The Cerveny CFC 652-5PX Cimbasso is a unique instrument designed for the professional bass trombone or tuba player. The Cimbasso is most commonly found in Verdi operas, but has been used several other settings, including use by metal band Korn on their MTV Unplugged concert.

Like all Cerveny instruments, the CFC 652-5PX is made in Europe with a centuries old tradition of instrument making. It features all of the materials that Cerveny uses for its other low brass instruments. The Cerveny Cimbasso is compatible with many tuba mouthpieces.
