The JP071 is a durable and warm sounding Bb student cornet, ideal for getting new learners off the mark and progressing quickly. Jp071 cornet
Feb 20, 2017I have been playing a trumpet since I was ten years old and am now seventy two nod still plying in church and a small jazz band. I recently could not pass up an eBay deal on a used John packer jp071 cornet. I wanted a horn that would give a more mellow sound for church work. I didn't expect much for the money I spent. Wow! Was I surprised. It projected a wonderful dark sound made almost "flugel" with a 3c mouthpiece. The builds quality is out standing and the valves are fast and responsive. I own more expensive horns but this is my go to horn for most of my gigs! I can't put it down. I would recommend this horn to anyone from student to professional.
