The JP074 is a high quality Bb student euphonium with an open wrap design and thumb hook to support players with smaller hands. The JP074 comes personally recommended by Glyn Williams of Fodens Band who was immensely impressed with the performance it delivers at a highly affordable price. He said "Intonation is outstanding throughout the entire range as is the quality of sound. High F is particularly good which is better than most professional models." With a durable construction, Glyn complimented the instrument going on to say "The overall workmanship and general appearance of the JP074 is excellent. The instrument also 'looks right' unlike many other student models. It has very sturdy stays and a nice finish."
The JP074 Bb Euphonium is constructed from yellow brass throughout with the inclusion of a rose brass leadpipe providing a full, dark sound. A .571" bore, 11" bell and open wrap design help sound projection and support those students that are new to the instrument. The instrument's thumb hook support gives younger players that added assistance and ensures the JP074 is comfortable to play and easy to hold.
The JP074 is supplied with a JP mouthpiece and a high quality lightweight case featuring wheels, YKK zips throughout and useful side storage pocket. The case is well built and sturdy ensuring maximum protection for the instrument in all settings, whether in a school storage cupboard or being transported to and from lessons. Popular with schools and music services, JP Musical Instruments understands the importance of a high quality case no matter whether the instrument within is of a student or professional level.
All JP Instruments are covered by a comprehensive 2 year warranty against manufacturing defects.
