I got this to replace a Bach Strad case whose zipper quit. I love this ProTec because it is lighter but still protects. The only issue I have with it is that the zipper catches on the inner strap right past the curve, so I have to zip up about 3 inches, and zip around almost to there. There is gap of a couple inches on what is the bottom of the case when standing. The instrument is still secure, but you are then leaning the case on the zipper pulls, which can't be good. I don't think this is a defect of my case, but a design issue. I also have a student with one of these, and her zipper is pulling away from the case in a couple spots...hers is two years old. Mine is a few months' old.
